Mental Wealth Academy
Effective Date: May 30th, 2025.
Mental Wealth Academy is a consensus dedicated to ensuring the intellectual growth of onchain technology, specifically demonstrating proficiency in Cyber-Security and Developing Human Potential.
We are not a traditional company. We are a collective protocol — a hybrid ecosystem where remote work, decentralized governance, and cyber-cultural development intersect. This policy outlines how contributors participate in our evolving structure, from remote work and DAO voting to reflection practices and digital presence. It exists to align all members with the Academy’s mission, clarify expectations, and support a culture rooted in both technical excellence and personal transformation.
All team members operate remotely. This is a permanent structural decision aligned with our values of self-governance, flexibility, and global accessibility. Remote work at Mental Wealth Academy is defined by three key principles:
Autonomy: Team members are empowered to structure their workdays according to personal productivity patterns and responsibilities.
Accountability: Clear outcomes are prioritized over synchronous time. You are responsible for delivering results, not maintaining online presence.
Trust: We operate on trust. The absence of physical supervision is not a loophole—it’s a sign of maturity in our working culture.
While we respect asynchronous work, we request that all team members maintain a four-hour overlap with the Academy’s core coordination window: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM UTC. This ensures real-time availability for essential collaboration, project alignment, and communication with decentralized teams across time zones.
All team members are expected to maintain a workspace that supports focused, distraction-free work. The company offers a Remote Office Stipend to support ergonomic, professional setups. Internet connectivity must meet minimum standards for video conferencing and tool access.
We do not measure performance by “being online.” Instead, we assess effectiveness through clarity of communication, ownership of workstreams, and results. Showing up means:
Responding to messages within 24 hours (excluding designated offline days)
Contributing actively in relevant channels
Demonstrating initiative in problem-solving and innovation
Asking for support when needed
We practice intentional meeting culture. Meetings must have an agenda, a designated facilitator, and a clear outcome. All recurring meetings are subject to regular review. Participation in key governance and team syncs is mandatory unless previously excused.
The ecosystem of value refers to the dynamic network of inputs, contributions, decisions, and tools that sustain the Mental Wealth Academy’s operations and future. It includes internal workstreams, community channels, governance votes, and knowledge exchange practices.
Mental Wealth Academy operates with a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) structure for key decisions. All team members are expected to:
Stay informed on active proposals via our governance platform
Vote on proposals related to funding, protocol changes, cultural initiatives, and team changes
Comment with context, rationale, and questions where appropriate
DAO voting is not optional. It is how we co-govern our future. A failure to participate consistently in governance processes may lead to a performance review.
Team members are also encouraged to draft and submit proposals in alignment with the Academy’s mission. Proposal templates, submission deadlines, and evaluation criteria are publicly available in the Governance Hub.
Mental Wealth Academy exists across multiple layers of digital space — including immersive platforms, web portals, and community apps. Our “metaverse” identity is not gimmick-driven; it is a culture of presence. We expect you to:
Maintain a recognizable professional avatar or identity in designated platforms
Practice cultural consistency in your tone, conduct, and representation
Understand that your digital behavior reflects our collective integrity
Cyber-culture at Mental Wealth Academy means:
Respecting asynchronous norms: not expecting instant replies unless urgent
Minimizing noise: limiting low-signal messages in high-priority channels
Practicing consent: not tagging individuals repeatedly without clear need
Acknowledging influence: understanding that your tone affects emotional climate
All team communication must align with our Digital Conduct Charter, which outlines respectful, inclusive, and secure digital interaction.
We believe reflection is a form of productivity. To this end, we have institutionalized Reflection Windows—periods of low or no operational activity where team members are encouraged to:
Review personal performance
Conduct deep creative thinking
Explore personal or professional development
Rest intentionally
Reflection Windows occur:
Bi-weekly (every second Friday): 4-hour window of unscheduled time
Quarterly (last week of each quarter): Dedicated to recalibration, learning, or recovery
Reflection activities may include journaling, mentorship sessions, solo research, or non-digital exploration. No internal deadlines or meetings should be scheduled during these periods unless pre-approved.
Performance is assessed not by hours worked but by contribution quality, alignment with values, participation in governance, and peer feedback. Key performance indicators (KPIs) include:
Deliverable timelines
Communication clarity
Governance participation rate
Creative initiative
Reflection engagement
Non-compliance with core expectations — including DAO participation, governance voting, presence in meetings, or failure to communicate — will result in a progressive alignment review:
Informal check-in with team lead
Written feedback and development plan
Possible contract suspension or role reassignment
Remote is the norm — rooted in autonomy, accountability, and trust.
Presence means contribution — not screen time.
Governance is shared — voting is mandatory, and proposals are open.
Cyber-culture is sacred — respect digital space as a shared mental environment.
Reflection is built-in — pause to grow, not just to recover.
Mental Wealth Academy was created to be more than a company — it’s a prototype for what future-conscious work can look like. The workplace is not a place; it’s a protocol. And within that protocol, you are not just a worker. You are a co-creator of a system designed for depth, clarity, and liberation.
Let this policy serve as your compass.
