College life is often painted as an exciting journey of growth, but for many students, it is also riddled with doubts, pressures, and anxieties that can be overwhelming. Mental Wealth Academy understands these challenges and is designed to address them head-on, providing a digital library and social hub that empowers students to navigate these turbulent years.
Utilizing digital tools we've constructed—an interactive online ecosystem that replicates the tangible act of viewing a library book digitally. Using a smart contract, users gain temporary, decentralized access to books, videos, or podcasts, bridging tactile and digital realms.

Next Generation Education 2.0
COVID-19 Pandemic of 2020 showed people how many modern traditional problems can be solved remotely online, with majority of companies now being completely remote or hybrid. It makes sense for colleges and educational companies to switch as well.
Knowledge and skill-building should not be sequestered by wealth. The burden created from high tuition and highly inflated book prices adds negative stress on the early-developing brain (age 18-25) at a time where most high school students, feel obligated to continue to due; social pressure, anxiety, financial uncertainty, and a underdeveloped understanding of the working class.
Sure there are grants, and not everyone goes into student debt. But 70% of students who receive a bachelor's have extreme educational debt by graduation. With the benefits and quality of freelance learning via Youtube content creators, old college and academia is slowly losing it's selling point.
One example of this is Harvard offering all of it's courses for free online so anyone can view it. The college doesn't get paid for them and neither does the teacher giving the lectures. But it displays a glimpse at the future of education, accessible and free for anyone who wants to get it.
On the case of financial debt, why should loans be given as an option at an early age during peak prefrontal cortex of brain development where risk-taking and uncertainty are most prominent? If the age of cigarettes and vaping can be raised to 21, why are we allowing 18 year old children to sign up for financial debt with no guarantee that they'll be able to pay it back?
Debt is helpful, in early days of hunter-gathering a farmer may lend a new resident to the town a couple of chickens, in the good faith that the farmer returns them once he's setup a system where he and his family can eat. The consequence of not returning the chicken would be shunning from the community.
Salle Mae and big loan companies take this a step further. For example, as defined in Section 221(d)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, qualified educational loans aren't dischargeable through bankruptcy absent a showing of undue hardship. This means that if you are in financial ruin, you'll be forever tied to that $2,500 math class and the corresponding $200 book.
Students should be able to sample things that they want to do without debt. But it's damn near impossible to prove in a court of law that College Education and Book Prices are a dangerous monopoly.

This system offers students an alternative to the costly cycle of buying inflated textbooks, empowering them with access to knowledge in a fair and equitable manner. Through our collaborative model, Academics can view our books— lending opportunities for growth, learning, and equity in education.
Ethereum's innate ability to track ownership, paired with token-gates allows us to provably provide the ability to view books academics are required to study in order to graduate. The 1st Token-Gate (Referred to as a Library Card) privatizes the Library, the 2nd Token-Gate (Referred to as a Book Key) allows digital lending. This ethical and structured way where it's not distributed, but Space-Shifted.

Research: First Mover's Disadvantage
Many of the competing brands in our area of onchain technology had the gift of first mover's advantage. Their insider knowledge, and financial resources, allowed them to secure partnerships and positioning that would have been impossible right now due to lack of social distancing.
Which is why these brands became oversaturated with significant drawbacks

This will be achieved by targeting local colleges such as; Villanova, Temple University, & West Chester University during their registration period to first week of the semester. We will offer students free Library Card NFTs, which will allow them to access an onchain library built for ethical book-sharing.
This step requires manual 3-step labor:
Introduce them to the option for a lower-cost or free book via Library Card NFT.
Invite them to the discord's list of sign-up steps. (Wallet, Anti-Scam, Token Information, Safety, Etc.)

The prevalence of students that are drinking on weekends is slowly declining as we move more into a digital age, and options such as marijuana use are now recreational.
The secondary goal of Academy is facilitating and offering members access to high-quality online events, which are beneficial to the individual user's needs; upskilling or hobby community they can connect with. We look at these events as the "digital lunchtables" of an online school.
Initially we will only select high-quality teachers and courses that deeply align with our ethos. During this time we also have flexibility in wether or not we wish to charge students per course. Partnerships will likely charge a small fee for attendance, with the money they save it's likely they will try events or see something that interests them. However, we have already made profit at this point so it's a more of an exploratory offer meant to be in their best interest and not ours.

With the additional options to sign-up and participate in online events. We can now leverage our community and barter with freelance bootcamps, collect data on what students would like to see, and edit our offering based on data gathered and feedback.
Mental Wealth Academy is only the library at this point in time, but the branding and creative use of onchain tools, make being involved in the educational layer's process delightfully interesting, even to users who are unfamiliar with NFTs and onchain technology.
Labor at this point is simply facilitating chat, FAQs, and guiding users through any tech errors.

The investigation reveals that through such social media platforms, PSI/PSR influence consumers cognitively, affectively and behaviorally. In terms of cognition, the data suggest that PSI/PSR can influence opinion, interests, attention allocation and construction of relations, specifically through the availability of in-depth knowledge about the social media persona. DAO Decision Making
DAO Voting is the last part and the most abstracted. Many people aren't too inclined or curious about DAOs and we don't want to make it something that is the highlight of the product, it's not. But it is one of the greatest aspects of a Smart Contract, and to leave it out would be asinine. So in order to utilize the DAO correctly, it will simply be called a voting page. Where users who are eligible will be able to cast their singular vote on certain platform changes, brand updates, and possibly even grants for personal funding.
The voting page aims to bridge further collaboration through a vibrant voting experience, increasing brand-trust and excitement with each interaction. To ensure the community stays vibrant and thriving, discussions centered around wellness, school, financial literacy, skill-building, and other things to further invest in the human potential and spirit of each member will be conducted.
